What the Dickins?

In this bicentenary year of Charles Dickens' birth - the Dickins family in Rickmansworth have excelled themselves in their fabulous window display for the Ricky Week Celebrations.  Karen Dickins admits that she and her family could not have done this without the help of some of their loyal customers.  Ink wells, blotters and some ancient copies of Charles Dickens' novels all help to set the scene for this scholarly display.

On a less sober note... the family run shop is one of the oldest in Rickmansworth, and is almost a history lesson in itself with all the original fittings of the shop still in tact.  They supply an extensive range of wines and spirits along with a rather scrumptious range of locally produced jams, preserves and pickles.  And if you need a gift for a colleague or family member, Alison will happily gift wrap a basket full of goodies for you.
