#Rickmansworth High St Handbag thefts

There have been two cases of theft in Rickmansworth High Street over the last two days.
On Thursday afternoon a handbag was stolen from a shopping trolley in Marks and Spencer , High Street Rickmansworth and on Saturday morning a purse was taken from a handbag , this is believed to have happened at the Peace Hospice shop in Rickmansworth High Street. It is believed that a distraction technique was used in the theft which occurred on Saturday, whereby one person distracted the victim while an accomplice took the purse from the handbag.
Shoppers are urged to be very vigilant and to ensure their handbags are carried at all times and also to make sure that bags are completely zipped up. An ideal type of handbag is a shoulder bag which can also be worn across the body.
