People with
disabilities, youth groups and pensioners are just some of the people who
are expected to
benefit from a new minibus. A £14,800 grant towards the new bus was agreed by Three
Rivers' Executive Committee on Monday evening (3 September) to enable Roundabout
Transport to replace one of its old vehicles.
The
not-for-profit group provides minibus hire to groups in Three Rivers,
Hertsmere, Watford and nearby areas. Many of Roundabout's minibuses are 15 seaters and a
great number are fully wheelchair accessible. Blue Badges give the minibuses
extra parking accessibility when used by people with disabilities.
The buses
may be hired for short trips or week long excursions.
