I really hope that you all had a lovely Christmas?
And what are we heading into in 2009? Who knows? I firmly believe that keeping it positive - will keep it positive! I once worked in an office many years ago, where the staff did nothing but moan to each other about their lot.... I found that I was going home each day very dissatisfied myself. I could not understand why this was intitially and struggled to understand why the 'perfect' job (recruitment) was not fulfilling all my expectations. Having put my finger on the problem, we made a pact between us to say nothing unless it was positive. This had a tremendous effect on the staff moral and the new business figures. The office went from strength to strength and so did my pay packet! Of course this will not be able to save an already failing business, but if you keep in positive at least the time you have at work is enjoyable!
