Nottingham Knockers in Rickmansworth

On Monday 25th June Nottingham Knockers were reported selling In three different roads in Rickmansworth. Police received calls from Harefield Road, Nightingale Road and Moneyhill Road.

Sellers that were stopped by Police were advised to leave the area as they were selling without a peddlars licence.

Nottingham knockers are refferred to this name as they are ex offenders from Nottingham who cold call selling cleaning products door  to door. We have also had sellers travelling from Margate/Ramsgate too.

The sellers can be quite pushy and residents are advised not to buy items as they do not have a peddlars license. This also encourages sellers to return if residents do buy things.

Residents are advised not to engage in any type of door to door trading as they are vulnerable to rogue trading offences.

Always use 101 to notify Police about any sellers who may target vulnerable people in your area.
