Tues 30th August Day of the Disappeared. The British Red Cross will be celebrating International Day of the Disappeared, a UN annual commemoration day started in 1983 for individuals who have gone missing in armed conflicts or other situations of violence and whose fate is unresolved. This year this area will be commemorating the day at an event at the Croxley Green Centre (Barton Way, Croxley) between 2.00pm and 5.00pm on 30th August. There will be stands displaying the work of the BRC International Tracing and Message Service as well as the activities of local community groups.

Fri 2nd September Friends of Watersmeet Film Society present: 'Prom' 2.00pm Matinee only, and 'Bridesmaids' 7.45pm.

Thur 15th September Friends of Watersmeet Film Society present:'Water for Elephants' 2.00pm and 7.45pm

Fri 23rd September Watersmeet Rocks, Battle of the Bands, open auditions with a live grand final on 28 October.
