From Wednesday 12 November - Monday 5 January 2015, Watersmeet will be displaying work by June Faulkner, a colourful collection of screen printed and hand painted silk hangings, alongside photography and other mixed media pieces.
June is a member of Herts Visual Arts, The Guild of Silk Painters and The Barnet Collection and exhibits extensively throughout Hertfordshire, as well as running community engagement workshops. http://www.hvaf.org.uk/June-Faulkner/gallery
June will be appearing in Artistsmeet on Monday 8 December where she will be demonstrating the art of silk painting by hand. Come along to see her in action and have a go yourself, by adding to a collaborative textile piece! There will be festive refreshments and June will also be bringing along a selection of her devoré scarves and other small items to purchase, perfect for unique Christmas presents!
