As a Sea Cadet Adult Volunteer,
You’ll have the opportunity to do:
· Sailing, at sea and on inshore waters
· Power boating
· Camping and adventure
· Teaching
You’ll learn:
· Navigation at sea and on land
· Seamanship and rope work
· Engineering
· Communications
· First Aid
You’ll become:
· Qualified in our multi-discipline syllabus
· A leader on public occasions
· A tutor and mentor for young people
You can join as a civilian or a uniformed instructor, and end up in
charge of a unit, or perhaps in a leading role guiding others and
setting the course for the future.
You can be any age from 18 upwards, have much experience or
none, and have any background under the sun.
We’ll need you to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service check
as part of a simple selection process, to undertake some basic
training from the start, and to be ready to commit your time regularly.
