Business, grants and pest control on Youth Council agenda
On Tuesday 2 July from 5:30pm to 7:00pm Three Rivers Youth Council are holding a meeting to discuss the latest issues on the agenda in Three Rivers.
Firstly there will be a talk from Mark Jervis from Three Rivers District Council which will be about pest control. There will also be a talk from a local young business man about how to successfully set up and run a business. Groups which have received Youth Council grants will talk about their work with Rickmansworrth and Watford Sea Cadets, Quench youth café, MENCAP and St Helen’s and Merchant Taylor’s schools' PHAB project.
Three Rivers District Council has been running the Youth Council since March 1996 to provide young people with an opportunity to participate in local decisions and issues. If you want to have fun, have your say and help make a difference in the local community then feel free to come along. The meeting welcomes young people aged between 11 and 19 and children of mixed ability including those registered disabled.
