Must see Young Musician on BBC

The woodwind final of the 2012 BBC Young Musician Competition will be broadcast on BBC4 this Friday at 7.30. One of the finalists is Charlotte Barbour-Condini who won the Rickmansworth Young Musician competition in 2010 playing the recorder.  This is the first time a recorder player has reached this far in the competition and is a reflection of Charlotte's extraordinary ability.

Tune in for the start of the programme; I am told by her mother that she is first to play.  I heard her playing part of her BBC programme at the Amersham Festival a fortnight ago - absolutely super and not to be missed.
