Today at 0915 hrs a elderly resident in Cedars Avenue Rickmansworth has been approached by 3 white males in silver Medium sized car possibly a P reg. The males have tried to get the resident to return to their house as there was a issue with flooding in a neighbours house. The resident has refused the males offer of returning to the address but under duress has given their contact details due to the males threatening to tell there boss the resident was not co-operating. The driver of the silver car that spoke to the resident was described as in his 40`s, brown collar length hair, heavy build, with a Liverpuddlian accent. This Modus Operandi is now a country wide distraction burglary series hence why it is being sent to all areas in Three Rivers. Please pass to all of your members.
