Happy Easter!

It seems ages since I last wrote anything meaningful on my Blog, but inspired by a recent training session I have decided to be a bit more proactive....

This is a photograph of Lola.... who completed the Sports Relief Mile in the Aquadrome on 21st March. When I enquired of her breed, her owner told me that she started the Mile as an Alsatian! She is in fact, a 5 month old Norfolk Terrier... and VERY sweet.

Tom Darlington from Three Rivers Sports Network has told me this week that they expect to have raised at least £2,500 from the run, however around June time the organisers should be in a position to confirm the final amount. They are hoping that this will be in the region of £5,000. Well done to everyone from Rickmansworth, Chorleywood and Croxley Green that took part - BRILLIANT effort.

Last weekend was the Mill End Community Centre Open Day - the second one organised fantastically by Susan Gambula. Despite the weather there was a great turn out and loads of entertainment. The unveiling of the 'Refresh' mobile cafe was the centrepiece of the day and I have to say they serve a fab cup of coffee!
Will update more soon!
Nina
